EASA Part-66 Modules Training

EASA Part-66 Modules Training refers to the structured theoretical instruction and examination process required for individuals seeking an EASA Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML). This training is based on the EASA Part-66 regulation, which defines the knowledge and competency standards for aircraft maintenance engineers across Europe and other recognized regions.

The training is divided into a series of modules, each covering a specific subject area such as:

  • Mathematics and Physics (Modules 1 & 2)

  • Maintenance Practices (Module 7)

  • Aerodynamics and Aircraft Systems (Modules 11, 12, 13)

  • Turbine Engines and Propellers (Modules 15 & 17)

Each module must be passed through exams conducted by an EASA Part-147 approved training organization. The required modules vary depending on the licence category being pursued (e.g., Category A, B1, B2, or B3).

Successful completion of all relevant modules is a critical step toward applying for the EASA Part-66 AML, allowing the holder to certify aircraft maintenance work by European aviation standards.
