CAMO Service (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization)

CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization) is a certified entity responsible for ensuring that aircraft remain airworthy and compliant with all regulatory requirements throughout their operational life. CAMO services are mandated by aviation authorities such as EASA, the UK CAA, and the GCAA, particularly for commercial and large private aircraft operations.

Key responsibilities of a CAMO include:

  • Monitoring and managing aircraft maintenance programs

  • Tracking airworthiness directives (ADs) and service bulletins (SBs)

  • Planning and scheduling maintenance tasks

  • Managing aircraft records and technical documentation

  • Coordinating with Part-145 maintenance organizations

A CAMO plays a critical role in aviation safety by overseeing the technical condition of the aircraft and ensuring that all required maintenance and inspections are carried out by approved procedures.

Whether operating under EASA, UK CAA, or GCAA regulations, having CAMO support is essential for ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal fleet performance.
